Selected projects, thoughtfully considered.
Some projects call for something that cannot be found in a standard catalog. Trestlemark may consider selected custom furniture, household, shop, storage, and maker projects that align with our design philosophy and current capabilities.
Custom work is considered individually. Submitting an inquiry does not create an order or guarantee that a project can be accepted.

A good fit
The strongest custom projects generally have:
- A clear purpose or problem to solve
- Realistic dimensions and functional requirements
- A design direction compatible with Trestlemark
- An appropriate budget for custom work
- A schedule that allows the work to be done properly
We favor useful, durable, restrained designs over novelty or decoration for its own sake.
Start with the project
- Tell us what you need. Describe the object, its intended use, approximate dimensions, important requirements, and anything else that would help us understand the project.
- We review the request. We consider fit, capability, schedule, materials, complexity, and whether the project makes sense for Trestlemark.
- We discuss the next step. If the project appears to be a good fit, we can clarify requirements and determine what is necessary to prepare a quote or proposal.
- Work begins only after the project is defined and approved. No project is considered accepted until the applicable scope, price, terms, and schedule have been agreed upon.
Custom does not mean unlimited
Trestlemark uses controlled customization. We may recommend changes to dimensions, materials, construction, features, or finish when doing so improves manufacturability, durability, cost, or consistency.
We may also decline projects that fall outside our capabilities, schedule, safety requirements, or design direction.
Tell us about your project
A structured inquiry form is planned for this section, collecting: name, email, project description, and intended use (required), plus approximate dimensions, preferred material or wood species, desired completion timeframe, budget range, reference images, and other requirements (optional).
Submitting this form is an inquiry only and does not constitute acceptance of a project, price, or delivery commitment.
[IMPLEMENTATION NOTE: this button currently opens an email draft (mailto) rather than a real structured form — no forms plugin has been chosen yet. Replace with a proper form (with spam protection and the fields listed above) once a plugin is selected and approved. Delete this note once resolved.]
